| The receptacle of the mooring connector is mounted in a dual-purpose mudmat/deployment skid. This allows the receptacle to be deployed by the AHV without the need for an 'A' Frame as can be seen in the video clip. Once over the stern roller the mudmat hangs in a vertical position allowing the receptacle to be parked on the seabed. The mudmat/receptacle in this video is being deployed using a Balltec BREM Lifting/Installation Tool. |
